The Vanier Museopark is a unique community museum that celebrates the culture and Francophone heritage of Ottawa and its surrounding areas. It is also the proud owner of Canada’s only active urban sugar shack, located within a sprawling park featuring an urban forest, making it an ideal destination for school fieldtrips.

With its vibrant spaces, rich heritage, and rare ecosystem, the Vanier Museopark welcomes over 5,000 students each year from Ottawa and neighbouring regions.

We offer a wide range of school programs, divided into 3 distinct categories, all aligned with the Ontario Ministry of Education curriculum and tailored for students from Kindergarten to Grade 12.
