The Museoparc is proud to present its exhibition in the heart of the Richelieu forest. Our trail is dedicated to the men and women authors of novels, poetry, theater and folklore who have shaped the cultural heritage of French Ontario.
There are no less than 30 authors hiding in the Richelieu forest. This outdoor exhibition is accessible for free at all times.
The French language has been present in Ontario for 400 years. Following the break-up of French Canada, an independent literature developed in French Ontario in the early 1970s. Ontario now has 8 publishing houses.
In the summer of 2022, a digital component was added to the Authors’ Path to allow visitors to listen to audioguides about some of the authors. Simply scan the QR code on the sign to access this exclusive content. Give it a try on your next walk in the forest!
