Booking a school fieldtrip

To book a school fieldtrip at the Vanier Museopark, please complete the form below at least 2 weeks in advance. We are nevertheless delighted to accept last-minute reservations whenever it is possible.

School workshop pricing

  • Standard rate: $7.50 per student per workshop. Minimum fee: $150.
  • Special “Force et résilience” workshop: $12.50 per student. Minimum fee for this workshop: $250. Two hour workshop.
  • Maximum number of students per workshop: 30


Add-ons

  • Guided tour of the Richelieu Park forest: $4 per student (accompanying adults free)
  • Maple taffy: $4 per person (students and adults)
  • Lunch room rental (subject to availability of the Richelieu-Vanier Community Centre): $100

Please note:

  • During the sugar season (from mid-February to the end of April), availabilities are limited, so we suggest you book your fieldtrip at the Museopark as early as possible.
  • A different form must be completed for a fieldtrip during the Sugar Festival.
  • We cannot accept bookings for school fieldtrips or workshops the week before and during the Vanier Sugar Festival, from March 16 to 30, 2026.

Cancellation policy

Fees apply if you cancel your booking:

  • Cancellation less than 15 business days before the visit: 50% of the total package cost will be charged.
  • Cancellation within two business days of the visit: 100% of the total package cost will be charged.

If the Vanier Museopark must cancel your visit for any reason, you will receive a full refund.

To ensure an optimal experience, please note that groups should arrive 15 minutes before the start of the workshop. For example, arrive at 9:45 a.m. at the Museopark for a workshop starting at 10 a.m.

A confirmation will be sent to you as soon as possible by the Museopark team with the final schedule. The contract and final invoice will be sent subsequently. Full payment is required at least two business days before the scheduled outing at the Vanier Museopark.
