Toy drive for the children in need in Vanier

The Vanier Museopark, in partnership with the Conseil des écoles catholiques du Centre-Est (CECCE), and the Vanier Community Service Centre (CSCV) invites you to take part in its Creating Christmas Magic event and spread the joy!

When : Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Where : Richelieu-Vanier Community Centre (300 des Pères-Blancs Ave.)
Admission : Donation of any kind (toys, gift cards, money)

A community gathering celebrating the joy of giving

It’s in a festive atmosphere of goodwill that the people of the community will be able to hand out their new toys. They’ll enter the workshop of Santa’s elves, who are already busy preparing magical moments for Vanier families. Here, young and old alike will discover lots of different stations, from gift sorting to wrapping and Christmas card making, all while being wrapped up in holiday music. There will also be fun games for children and several storytelling sessions with the Star Fairy (La Fée des Étoiles) and Camille la chenille, the beloved mascot of the CECCE.

The event will also feature a Christmas music concert at 11:30 a.m. with Kristine St-Pierre et le groupe de Noël. You can attend the concert free of charge by bringing an unwrapped toy. This will be followed by the unveiling of the donations collected by our partners.

Several boxes to collect your donations

Those who are unable to attend this community celebration, but would still like to take part in Creating Christmas Magic, can make a monetary donation online or by dropping off new, unwrapped toys in donation boxes at the following locations:
