ARTEFACTS 2019-2024

The Vanier Museopark is proud to present its latest temporary exhibition, ARTEFACTS 2019–2024. As the title suggests, our curator has selected the most remarkable objects added to our collection over the past five years.

Did you know that most museum objects are not visible to the public? In fact, more than 95% of collections are typically kept out of sight in what is known as a museum reserve. These storage areas are essential for preserving heritage, but they are usually inaccessible to visitors. That’s why this exhibition is a rare and valuable opportunity to explore a previously unseen part of our collection.

This unique showcase would not have been possible without the generosity of our donors. Thanks to their contributions, the Vanier Museopark continues to expand its collection year after year, actively helping to preserve and highlight the heritage of the former City of Vanier. We extend our heartfelt thanks to them.
