Temporary exhibition presented from November 7, 2025, to October 3, 2026

The Vanier Museopark presented the temporary exhibition ARTEFACTS 2019-2024, featuring a selection of some of the most remarkable objects added to the museum’s collection over the past five years.

Did you know that the majority of objects held by a museum are not on public display? More than 95% of collections are generally kept out of sight in what is known as museum storage. While these spaces are essential to preserving our heritage, they remain inaccessible to most visitors. ARTEFACTS 2019-2024 offered a unique opportunity to bring part of this normally unseen collection to light and introduce visitors to objects that are rarely displayed.

This exhibition was also made possible thanks to the generosity of Vanier Museopark’s donors. Their contributions allow the museum to continue enriching its collection over the years while helping preserve and showcase the heritage of the former City of Vanier.
