Summer Camps

The summer camps will take place from July 15th until August 23th, 5 days a week from 9 am until 4 pm.

 

ATTENTION : Please note that reservations for the full weeks of camp are no longer possible, but there are still a few individual days available. Please contact us to know which days are free.

 

In our program:

  • Week 1: Wildlife – July 15th to 19th
  • Week 2: Wildlife influence on the human world – July 22nd to 26th
  • Week 3: Pioneers, First Nations & multiculturalism – July 29th to August 2nd
  • Week 4: Plants – August 5th to 9th
  • Week 5: Tales & Legends – August 12th to 16th
  • Week 6: Astronomy – August 19th to 23rd

Our camps are for children ages 5 to 10 from $25 per day to $100 for 5 days.

(add $10 for childcare between 8am and 9am and 4pm and 5pm)

The Vanier Museopark is a museum dedicated to the history of the Vanier District and the Ottawa Francophonie, located in the heart of a heritage forest! During the summer camps, children aged 5 to 10 will discover the Richelieu Forest ecosystem, explore pioneer life and more. Through educational activities both inside and outside, children will learn more about Vanier’s heritage.

20% discount will be given to children from the member families of the Museopark.

  • Our day camps include hours of play at Parc Optimiste (Ste-Cécile street) and Nault Park (St-Denis street), which are a 10-minute walk from the Museopark.
  • During the summer camps, the animators will take photos and videos of the proposed activities.
