The current temporary photo exhibit entitled Jules Villemaire, the Eye of Franco-Ontario – will be presented at the Vanier Museopark until the end of October.
Originally from Vanier, Jules Villemaire spent most of his artistic career in the Ottawa region and in eastern Ontario where he used photography as a form of social and cultural reporting. This temporary exhibition offers a retrospective of Jules Villemaire’s career, testifying to the artist’s perspective on life in Francophone Ontario between 1980 and 2010.
