For the second edition of their <b data-path-to-node=\"3\" data-index-in-node=\"118\">Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de Poche<\/b> (Pocket Theatre) series, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.creationsinvivo.com\/\"><b data-path-to-node=\"3\" data-index-in-node=\"160\">Cr\u00e9ations In Vivo<\/b> <\/a>invites the public to step inside the Vanier Sugar Shack on P\u00e8res-Blancs Avenue.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4\">The goal? To take part in a key developmental milestone for <b data-path-to-node=\"4\" data-index-in-node=\"60\"><i data-path-to-node=\"4\" data-index-in-node=\"60\">Patenteuses<\/i><\/b>, a brand-new Franco-Ontarian musical that promises to shake up our heritage.<\/p>\n<h2 data-path-to-node=\"5\">An Immersion in the Creative &#8220;Workshop&#8221;<\/h2>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6\">Rather than waiting for the official curtain call, Cr\u00e9ations In Vivo is choosing transparency by opening its rehearsal space to the public. Spectators will have the privilege of attending a <b data-path-to-node=\"6\" data-index-in-node=\"190\">full script reading<\/b>, followed by an <b data-path-to-node=\"6\" data-index-in-node=\"226\">open discussion<\/b> with the artists. This is a rare opportunity to see a work-in-progress, understand its inner workings, and exchange ideas with the team before the show takes its final form.<\/p>\n<h2 data-path-to-node=\"7\">Secret Societies and Franco-Ontarian &#8220;Glitter&#8221;<\/h2>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8\">Inspired by true events, the plot transports us to Saint-Cibole in &#8220;nineteen-hundred-and-loose.&#8221; We follow Marielle, Lucile, Doroth\u00e9e, and Rita who, fed up with their husbands&#8217; mysterious absences, discover the existence of <b data-path-to-node=\"8\" data-index-in-node=\"224\">La Patente<\/b> (The Order of Jacques-Cartier).<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9\">Founded in Vanier in 1926, this secret, male-only organization worked in the shadows for decades to protect French-Canadian interests. But in this musical, the women have no intention of staying on the sidelines:<\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"10\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10,0,0\">They infiltrate the order disguised as priests.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10,1,0\">They discover a heritage in danger.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10,2,0\">They decide to save that legacy\u2014out loud and through song!<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"11\">Described as a <b data-path-to-node=\"11\" data-index-in-node=\"15\">&#8220;musical of the joyful revolution,&#8221;<\/b> the show navigates between biting satire and glittery energy, brought to life by a renowned creative team: <b data-path-to-node=\"11\" data-index-in-node=\"158\">Chlo\u00e9 Th\u00e9riault<\/b> (script and lyrics), <b data-path-to-node=\"11\" data-index-in-node=\"195\">Brian St-Pierre<\/b> (music), and <b data-path-to-node=\"11\" data-index-in-node=\"224\">Dillon Orr<\/b> (direction). <b data-path-to-node=\"11\" data-index-in-node=\"248\">Cast:<\/b> Darquise Lauzon, Ariane Lemay, Emma-Rose Smith, and Chlo\u00e9 Th\u00e9riault.<\/p>\n<h2 data-path-to-node=\"12\">A Centenary Revisited<\/h2>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"13\">The official launch of <i data-path-to-node=\"13\" data-index-in-node=\"23\">Patenteuses<\/i> is slated for <b data-path-to-node=\"13\" data-index-in-node=\"49\">October 2026<\/b> at the MIFO (Orl\u00e9ans), coinciding almost to the day with the 100th anniversary of the founding of <i data-path-to-node=\"13\" data-index-in-node=\"160\">La Patente<\/i> in Vanier.
